STANDARDS
Standards Under Public Consultation
This section is to consult with stakeholders about those standards that have completed a five year period as part of the CERTFOR Certification System, or those that not having completed this period, need improvement in some specific area.
The updating process for the standards includes a period when the valid standard is published for stakeholders' comments during a minimum of two months. After the end of this period, stakeholders are invited to a workshop where more comments and observations are registered about the standard in consultation. Later, the comments are analyzed by the CERTFORCHILE Corporation’s board of directors, who can modify the valid standards.
A new updated version of the standard is generated based on the comments made by stakeholders.
