Ordinary and Extraordnary General Assembly 2008

The Ordinary and Extraordinary General Assembly 2008 of active partners of the Corporation CERTFORCHILE, was development Monday January 14 at Av. Parque Antonio Rabat Sur 6165, Vitacura.
The Corporation has its highest participation at the Annual General Meeting, who represent the spectrum of stakeholders in environmental sustainability, social and economic linked to the Chilean forestry sector.
In the opportunity gave the welcome to the new active associates who joined to the Corporation during 2007, thus increasing the representativeness of the sector and participatory processes in the system.

During the Extraordinary General Assembly there was realized modification of the Bylaws, which purpose was to adapt the operation of the Corporation. With this there is waited a more active participation of the associates in the activities that were realized during the year 2008.
As part of the Ordinary General Assembly, the administration of the certification system submitted its annual account, the balance sheet and the annual report 2007, which was elaborated for this Assembly and that in addition it compiles 5 years of CERTFOR's previous history. This memory is available in Annual Memory 2007.
The meeting turned out to be very satisfactory, emphasizing a high participation of the associates of the Corporation, making like proved the new limits that the Corporation will follow during the year 2008
