Aims

To develop an internationally recognized National Forest Management Certification Standard for radiata pine and eucalyptus plantations, natural forests of Lenga and second-growth forest.
To design and establish the Certification System and the protocol of accreditation for recognized independent certifying bodies.

To establish a Certification Superior Council that represent the interests associated to the forest sector, and that be formed by outstanding personalities of the corporate, environmental and academicals world.
To elaborate a first draft of the Forest Certification National Standard.
To implement pilot experiences in order to validaten the national standard.
To conduct an economic analysis for the direct impacts of the standards implementation in small, medium and large companies.
To confirm the national standard with other international certification initiatives.
To credit independent certifying bodies of recognized capacity.
